Right Back

RECENTLY Rafael Da Silva has been given increasing numbers of chances to impress Sir Alex, But who is worthy of that right-back position Gary Neville, Wes Brown or Rafael Da Silva.

NEVILLE has been a loyal servant to the club for ages.He has the defensive mind, great tackler, marker, header and leader. However his crossing is really gotten poor lately and isn't very attack minded.

BROWN has also been a loyal servant to the club seeing as he hasn't played nearly as much as Neville but still stayed and worked hard.He puts in fabulous crosses and is great at the defensive duties as we all saw against Barcelona in Champions League last season.Plus he always eager to get forward.

RAFAEL has really impressed over his last few performances, He is super quick and bombs up that wing , Puts in pretty good crosses and from what we've seen against Arsenal he has a wicked shot, Only downside is he isn't that good at defensive situations and isn't the best tackler but he is only 19 and has lots of time to learn.

United Strike Force

SINCE the arrival of Dimitar Berbatov form Spurs on the final day of the transfer window,Carlos Tevez has been forced to the bench in favour of the Bulgarian and Wayne Rooney.Tevez was instrumental in United's success in the Premier League and the Champions League. He made a habit of scoring the vital goals last season.

THE late equaliser against Spurs at White Hart Lane, the winner against Liverpool at Anfield and the late equaliser against Blackburn at Ewood Park. For this he is firmly estabilished in Utd fans hearts everywhere.Personally I believe he is a better player than Berbatov. He is fast, strong, works for the team, scores vital goals and never stops working all across the pitch. He causes his marker an extreme amount of pressure because he never stops chasing the ball, never gives up the ball. That means his marker usually ends up fouling him so many times winning free-kicks all over the pitch and gaining the opposition huge numbers of yellow cards.

TRULY he is a great player with a fantastic understanding with his strike partner Wayne Rooney last season.I,ll admit his performances this season have been patchy at best, but his perfomance against Blackburn last night in the League Cup Quarter-Final at Old Trafford, shows he is hitting form again and should be given his place alongside Rooney more regulary.
LETS hope this is the start of another United legend in the making
